Hourly Wage: $25 - $27/h, based on experience

ARC Document Solutions provides high quality printed images and communication graphics to more than 90,000 customers worldwide. Our ARC/Riot Print Center in Etobicoke, ON is looking for an experienced Large Format Print and Finishing Specialist to join our team. As a Large Format Print and Finishing Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end production lifecycle of premium physical print products across a diverse array of substrates.
Key Responsibilities
- File Preparation: Preflight, optimize and prepare client files for high-quality digital printing.
- Large Format Equipment Operation: Operate large-format digital printers while making precise adjustments for high quality end products.
- Finishing: Laminate, trim, custom cut, mount or grommet printed media of various substrates.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished orders for accuracy and overall craftsmanship and quality.
- Packaging: Wrap or package completed print projects for shipping or pick up.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in large format digital color printing, including proficiency with industry-standard equipment and mounting materials.
- Practical knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Experience with Onyx RIP software or equivalent.
- Experience with large format roll printer. (HP Latex 365, Canon Colorado)
- Experience with large format flatbed printer and CNC table. (Canon Arizona, Kongsberg)
- Experience with vinyl cutter. (Graphtec, Suma)
- Experience with Large Format Thermal and Cold laminators.
- Light fabrication experience. (general or specialized)
- Light installation of graphics at various venues.
